Our client has an opening in their Information Systems department for a
Systems Analyst / Programmer. The primary responsibilities are to support
and enhance new and existing business application software specific to the
Sales & Marketing business area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work through all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle to produce
quality applications in a timely manner.
· Collects information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
· Designs and implements integrated hardware and software computer and
information systems to meet the needs of the organization.
· Through Structure Systems and Business Analysis approaches, work with and
determine the needs of the end user in order to provide an efficient
workable solution.
· As required, produce feasibility studies, software specifications, end
user documentation and software documentation to address the company's
business needs.
· Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining system capabilities
and processes.
· May supervise and/or lead lower graded staff and/or student employees.
· As required, develop and execute against software development project
plans.
· Provide advanced troubleshooting & maintenance assistance to ensure the
ongoing availability of the Company's computing solutions.

Qualifications and experience must include:

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· A relevant subject area certification (MCSD, MCDBA, iNet etc.,)
· Six plus (6+) years of exposure to and use of the full software
development life-cycle
· Six plus (6+) years of experience with VB, SQL, HTML and Java programming
· A strong understanding of web technology and programming techniques
· A sound & demonstrable knowledge & understanding of the telecommunications
industry
· Experience with managing telecommunications sales & marketing support
systems

The Systems Analysis portion of this position is heavily emphasized and
preference will be given to individuals who can demonstrate good
interpersonal & communication skills and business acumen.

Portable candidates who can relocate easily and have outside interests that
lend themselves to Bermuda's idyllic living environment are preferred.
