I'm kind of curious... Why do men marry? It was only natural
for generations of men to be born to want to spread their seeds to as
many partners as possible.

I can only think of a few reasons, some of which I think all
lead back to one thing. Here's why I think why:

To get on a regular basis
He actually wants to have kids
He can't stand being alone
He's looking for a life-long companion

What reasons am I not thinking of?

Anonymous responses, I'm sure, will be more candid. Wives & g/fs will
probably be reading this.

DNA testing put a BIG stop to all that.
Tethered to the one cunt for life now.

One word. Occasional Vaginal penetration.
Who in their right mind would endure being tethered to a deteriorating hunk
of flesh, with a nagging bitching facial orifice that never wants to perform
acts, while her cousin downstairs has learned the art of extortion in
order to achieve all the material pleasures it desires and then when it
tires, it throws the slave on the trash heap, reaps the child support that
should be paid to the child, then a new slave is shackled to said vagina
(more aptly termed "cunt") and into the house the former slave pays for
whilst his own childredn live in the same house with the stinking fucking
whore, who gets the shit fucked out of her while her children are treated
like crap.
Marriage. Great institution.

Do all that w/o getting married. Any man who marries is
stupid; every card is stacked against him. With no-fault divorce,
family law virulently anti-man, marriage considered a life-long
committment for him but not for her, etc., all she has to do is to
walk out to get the house, car, retirement account, life-long alimony
of she wants it, child support, etc. A simple call alleging domestic
violence and he'll never see his kids again and he'll never be allowed
inside his house, which he pays the mortgage for, or within 200 yards
of her.
Most marriages don't last; they should not be considered
life-long committments financially (ie, the man's obligation). Nor
should the state have such an enormous apparatus in place to steal a
man's kids from him and to enforce false allegations of domestic
violence. Any man who marries is stupid.

Unless of course you marry someone who has taken her previous
husband/s to the cleaners and who you have no children by. Then if it falls
apart, you may have something to gain, but nothing to loose. Otherwise it is
stupid for men to marry.

Yes, but I believe most mammals raise their kids as well.

No, I got that when I was single.

> He actually wants to have kids

That's one reason.

> He can't stand being alone

In order to be successful in marriage, you will need to be able to
function independantly, so that is never a valid reason.

> He's looking for a life-long companion

A man and a woman, under god, to mate and raise god loving children
should be the goal of marriage.

> What reasons am I not thinking of?

Marriage life is great. You grow up, get married, have kids and raise
them to be productive members in society. You are rewarded when they
start their own families.

If it's your wife, you shouldn't be keeping anything from her,
especially your thoughts and feelings.

And to prove that not all men are bastards!
A promise is a promise and I have been thus far married nearly 22 years.

No need she knows how I feel.

Agree strongly but you forgot to add selfishness.

I have always said, and every day re-affirms this, that the biggest
difference between men and women is perception! How often do you hear both
sides saying "your not listening" to the other? Is it just they are not
listening or is it they do not get or perceive what the other is trying to
say. Try asking the opposite gender for road directions, one of the best
examples of perceptual differences.

There is an old saying: "An open mouth is a closed mind" shut your mouth and
learn!

Every day I thank God for seplclhcek!

That's nice, but your apparent assumption that besides you "all men
are bastards" discounts what you have to say. How would you feel about
saying all women are bitches?

So "That's all", huh? If you don't understand the significance of the
above then I don't think anyone should waste their time explaining it to
you.
