 | She does own the trailer house free and clear, but I would guess it's
only worth a few thousand dollars. She lives in a rural, Midwest state
and her trailer is parked on the outskirts of a small city. I imagine
she does pay something for trailer space, but I doubt if it's very
much. She's usually out of groceries before the end of the month and
probably gets hungry until her check arrives. I know this person quite
well. About the only thing I'm not really sure of is the amount of the
monthly disability check. As I recall, though, it's about $550. As I
said she does get a small amount of help from her mother and her church
from time to time, but I'm sure it doesn't average more than a $50.00 a
month or so. Most of the help she gets is to tide her over with some
grocery money until the end of the month or to buy a part for an
appliance that's quit working.
