Under Bush's social security plan, what happens if after you retire and
take possession of your private account, you happen to get sick and
wind up with a $300,000 hospital bill or you lose a big lawsuit, etc?
Just wondering.

Dump you into Guantanamo Bay and torture you.

That's the Republican way.

You would have a catastrophic health insurance plan that would pick up
after the first $5,000 or whatever deduction you have chosen. As to
the lawsuit that has nothing to do with the government, nor should it
be.

Its gone, of course. Remember, YOU own it, so someone else can take it from
you.

Course, another good question is what if the stock market continues to do as
poorly as it has under Bush?

You write a check, You use the money in your health savings account. Why
should the rest of us pay for your health care or your legal liabilities. It
isn't our responsibility, its YOURS!

Everybody dies. There are jobs out there, go find one. Learn Hindi, move to
India and get in line.

Medicare.

>>or you lose a big lawsuit

Why should it be the Government's responsibility to bail you out if you lose
a lawsuit? It isn't now, why should it be then?

But it would be the job of Bush's government to protect big corps from a
large settlement against them though,right?

Yes...clearly a disaster.Bush's plan is neither an entitlement, nor an
insurance against being poor in old age. I think Republicans forget
that poor elderly are the most vulnerable. Yes they save their whole
lives (what little they have) to be prepared for emergencies. But after
that, when nothing is left, what then?

They should be put on a dependant list and be supported by the ones that
make the laws that say they can retain health care and full bennies for life
after they retire at will. While the true workers work themselves to death
to get money to buy drugs. etc. Collect money from the government? What kind
of lowlife are you?
