One bid is on the table: Vancouver, B.C. for the weekend of July
22-25. However the bidding window is still open until January 31.
As delighted as I am to anticipate going to B.C. in July, I think
it's only fair to wait until the close of the bidding process to
start thinking about plane or train reservations.

Anybody out there seriously considering a competing bid? There's
always 2006.

Though I can't speak for the entire city, I believe Austin is out of
the running.
We've got to go to Belize this summer and clear the Sleeping Beauty
thicket off of my property there.

My dear! Don't tell me this means you won't be in Vancouver!

It sounds very attractive.
