 | Shall we dance (South African Release Date: 21 January 2005)
Rating: 7/10 Genre: Romantic Comedy
Director: Peter Chelsom; Cast: Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Bobby Cannavale
Not the Japanese one, but a romantic comedy where a bored, overworked accountant (Richard Gere, who is aging very well), upon first sight of a beautiful instructor (Jennifer Lopez), signs up for ballroom dancing lessons. Fun, especially if one enjoys watching ballroom dancing.
I left the theatre with a "feel good" attitude and a smile.

It looks, from the trailer, like a horribly girlie film. I can't stand that Gere chap with his little piggy eyes, poor acting and shifty appearance. I've discussed this and found that other chaps feel the same way - he seems as insincere and slimy as the Shrub, though he clearly isn't as dangerous.

Richard Gere is y. Very y. You may prefer the female lead, but I like RG.

That's the nice thing about aesthetics, other peoples can always surprise you.
How on earth can you like those piggy eyes though???
