I'm a married biual (37 years). One of the differences I find in a
m4m relationship is that it satisfies my basic need to bond with
another man. I think Most heteroual men have the same need, except
the express this need in other forms of acceptable physical contact,
mainly sports or activities with best buddies. I think men basically
need to physically relate to other men, not necessarily on a ual
level, but on a more primal level. I think it is much the same with
women, who can do so in more socially acceptable ways than men.

I have never been into sports and have always been on the fringe of
social acceptablility, having spent most of my early career in the
theatre, and later in the entertainment industry (as a designer). I
guess in that respect I have had more opportunity to 'get involved'
with men. Sex is something I learned to enjoy, but it is quite
different that what I feel with my wife. I have even felt that I have
been in love with a couple of guys, but still it was different from
what I feel with my wife.

As for my marriage, I truly thought I was 'cured' when my eventual wife
and I first had . It was so different, mostly because I could
stimulate her in such a way that we could both climax at the same time
(well, she always beat me, but could sustain it until I caught up).
This is one aspect of M4M that I have only achieved a couple of times.
I think it is what makes me happy to remain married and enjoy with
both my wife and with a particular buddy, who is also married.
I hope this is helpful.
