SURE PUNISHMENT
Attackers don’t want to be punished for their crime. An invention
called the [b:fa9454f489]Identifying Security Product
(ISP)[/b:fa9454f489] takes advantage of this. The ISP makes
[b:fa9454f489]DNA evidence against the attacker[/b:fa9454f489] that
the [b:fa9454f489]police can fine easily[/b:fa9454f489].
THE CONCEPT IS SIMPLE
The ISP is a personal security device about the[b:fa9454f489] size of
a button[/b:fa9454f489]. It contains a [b:fa9454f489]hundred
miniature skin samplers[/b:fa9454f489] in a [b:fa9454f489]breakable
container[/b:fa9454f489]. A potential victim can wear multiple ISPs.
When the attacker grabs the victim the [b:fa9454f489]struggle
ruptures one or more ISP[/b:fa9454f489]s and their hundreds of skin
samplers are randomly scattered. The [b:fa9454f489]sheer number of
tissues samples assures[/b:fa9454f489] that some of these skin
samplers will [b:fa9454f489]take and store a tiny sample of
skin[/b:fa9454f489] from the attacker and then fall to the ground.
POLICE SEARCH
[b:fa9454f489]Each of the skin samplers has a RFID tag[/b:fa9454f489].
All of the RFID tags share the same code. This [b:fa9454f489]code is
known to the police[/b:fa9454f489]. The police search the crime scene
with [b:fa9454f489]wireless RFID search device[/b:fa9454f489]s set to
the victim’s unique code. The [b:fa9454f489]police will quickly
recover a skin sampler[/b:fa9454f489] containing the attacker’s skin.
[b:fa9454f489]DNA analysis [/b:fa9454f489]of the tissue in the skin
sampler [b:fa9454f489]identifies the attacker[/b:fa9454f489] and he
is arrested.
DETERS CRIMINALS
Both the general public and [b:fa9454f489]attackers will become aware
of the ISPs capability for DNA identification[/b:fa9454f489]. This
[b:fa9454f489]identification threat deters attackers[/b:fa9454f489]
