I think your interpritation is a bit to narrow what Feynman is saying
here is that there can be no center of the universe because if you
think about it no matter where you are you will always find yourself to
be the excact same distance in both space and time from the moment of
our universe's begining its evoloution assuming the universe to be
roughly 13.7 billion years old you will always no matter where you are
find yourself to be 13.7 billion light years from the edge of the
universe in a sense every point can be said to be the center of the
universe subjectively at least As for a creator he, she or it is
irelavent to the principal subject and I find myself at a loss to
understand why the god myth would even be mentioned in this context
there is no need for superstition in science

Religion and superstition are two distinct things.
Superstition is belief that a black cat crossing your
path is a bad omen, or the number 13 portends bad luck.
Walking under a latter as the cause of some ill fortune
befalling us, is another example of superstitution.
Religion is belief in the unseen, the unknown and the
unknowable. It is belief is God(s) life after death,
Religion is closely related to philosophy. Both are
attempt to find purpose in life and meaning in
existence. Superstitition has no concern with this!
