Hello, inquiring mind! Now, ask yourself, kind Bill:
"What cement-walled channel doth a ball flying in a
given direction travel on, I wonder?" Then answer yourself:
"It travels by way of the Newton Express! 50 cents fare.
That sounds reasonable." It's also cause-and-effect, even
without any strings attached.

Now try to imagine this "flying ball" suddenly
deciding, willy-nilly, right in the middle of its flight
to hang a left... for no apparent reason at all!!!!!

Now THAT would be an effect without any visible cause at all.
And such a crazy ball would literally send the whole universe
into chaos & dissolution... as it banged this & that. Why,
soon it might even hit you on your old hard head & crack
(I mean the ball, obviously).

Really, you old hound dog: Do you really believe in pixies
at your age? Or are you just trying to pull my ole hairy leg?
(This late'n the game.)
