 | Graham Hancock points out something very intriguing regarding the mysterious Piri Reis Map of 1513. (This may be one of the maps that the Swedish researcher Inger was referring to earlier).
The following Graham Hancock video interview requires Realplayer to view http://www.bcvideo.com/clips/Piri.Reis.rm
Archeologist Graham Hancock cites evidence that this map, made in 1513, states right on it that it was drawn using 20 other maps to go by, one of those maps dating back to the time of Alexander the Great (356-323 BC, king of Macedon, conqueror of much of Asia).

No. I have refered to a seachart from 1424(!) one from late 15th century and to maps from 1510 to 1544. One which btw confirm that the route from Hudson Bay to Lake Nippigon was known in early 16th century. But of course no one among the naysayers took themselves time to look closer at urls I sent. Why am I surprised that they rather pick on what they believe(d) to be grammar or spelling faults?

There are much earlier star maps known and confirmed. The other day I read about one from late Stone Age. We do have star maps in form of star constellations when Haley's Comet moved over the horizon during Bronze Age on Rock Carvings from around the world - Sweden, Russia and China I know of.
