I will not enter upon any discussion with you in this matter howerver you should be aware that with the aid of freely available tools it is possible to forge the source of any given package of data on the net. One mischeivous person could with impunity impersonate 20 other people and no one could prove a thing. Anyone who claims they can definatly pinpoint the source of a mail message is ignorant.

 | unglued, I have more than 34 years experience with computers. I am well aware of the methods used by some trying to act as if they were 10 others. But I am also aware that the IP address can be tracked. Guess you know that too. The supplier can always find who is behind and there are softwares provided by suppliers to track as well.

 | Well Inger, to top post here a moment I will agree that Unglued is right. One cannot look at Usenet as 100% fact. It is loose general conversation like that in a noisy bar. If someone blurts something out it may or may not be that person. IPs and headers can be forged to harass people by someone with money, but again, if a person does this he harms his own situation more than anyone else's. This is because he is the one doing it. http://members.fcc.net/workgroup5/country/harassment.html
