 | I'm posting this to warn people. I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'll grant it's the holiday and busy, but check your credit card or debit card records if you've shopped at Wal Mart.
I took out several layaways on the third for the holidays from Wal Mart, capitalism at it's worse, I used my debit card.
These layaways were repeated charged to my account until it was over-drawn, I found this out when I deposited a hundred dollars last week into my account that should have had a balance and walked out of my financial instititution still owing them money that I don't have and my rent isn't paid. Walmart insist there's not record and I must have made additional purchase; identical charges (low propability), of items that were out of stock.

 | Grinch sighted in Hilo, Hawaii, leaving for Whoville,
I was finishing, setting up my Christmas light display today. It's pretty nice. I've Santa and a Snowman standing in a sleigh, being pulled by eight reindeer connected with a blue light rope and on one side and one that alternates green and red, it looks like they are flying, arc-like upward, connected to the eaves. I put different walls of six strings of lights operated by controllers that put on a twenty-seven minute light show of 18, 90 second patterns. There is a wall each in front, side and back. Three trees each in front ,back and are decorated, one is a Norfolk pine and has lighted ornements and canes, with lighted tube packages around it. Everything comes on with photo-cells and timers.
Most of it, I've collected the last couple of years, on sale, just before and after Christmas; at Sears, Ace and WALMART. Last year I bought six controllers at WALMART. I opened them this year and half of them didn't work.
So, to flesh things out a bit I needed a few more strings of lights to add on to the show. I checked out Sears and there wasn't much left. The next closest place was either the new Home Depot, opened this week, or WALMART across the street.
I went to WALMART and found the lights that I needed and was checking out of the store. I felt a fuzzy touch on my right ear, and a flash of green out of the side of eye and I turned around. There was the GRINCH in WALMART and he was giving me the MOON. Well, I MOONED the s.o.b. back and kicked him between the legs and the last that I saw of him he was flying somewhere over toward Whoville.

 | Astronomers sight Grinch rounding lunar orbit, expected to re-enter Whoville on Christmas Eve.
I was out Christmas shopping again, and saw a man protesting in front of SEARS at the Prince Kuhio Mall in Hilo, Hawaii. I asked him what was up and he told me that the Grinch was harassing a little 72 year old widow, and he pointed them out. Low and behold, there was the Grinch, and he was MOONING this little old widow women.
Well, this totally fired me up, I took off like a football quarter back down the packing lot and he didn't see me coming. I gave him one heck of a kick between his legs again and sent him into orbit. Doing some rough calculations, I'd expect him to land in Whoville on Christmas Eve.

Generally, I don't get into chain letters, but I can't stand injustice. I did see a elderly man protesting in front of Sears and asked him what was the story and he gave me a paper to read with the following:
AN APPEAL TO ALL DECENT AMERICANS.
Not only to stop shopping at Sears, this Holiday season. But to phone Sears (808-981-4001 - Hilo, HI). Tell Sears how shameful, despicable their tratment of this little, gentle 72 year old Widow is, and demand that they stop all harassment and meet with Dorothy M. Barber, to resolve this problem as follow:
Dorothy, opened a Sears charge account in 1967-68, in a two year spand charge a washing machine and freezer. Both item together, did not exceed $650.00. She further states that Season Holiday, Birthdays, She used the Sears charge. Not more than $200. She received a mongthly statement to pay $35.00.
From 1968 to 1980 (144 month x $35) she paid $5,040.00, that she paid faithfully. In or about 1980, She received a new statement for $97.00 a month, there had been no major purchases at any time.
From 1980 to 1988 (97 month x $ 97.00) she paid 9,312.00 that she paid again faithfully....Why?
In or about 1988 She received a new statement for monthly payment for $112.25, to current date. From 1988 to 2004 (192 month X $112.25) she paid $21,552,00....again, why?
One (?) major purchase, her son used Dorothy's crdit card for a lawn mower ($249.95), She assumed liability on or about 2001 or 2002.
Her latest credit statement show Dorothy still owes Sears $5,654.15......again, why? Payments jumped from $112,00 to $376.00 with an interest rate of 26.9%....Why.
(signed by) My name is Bob Biesiada, I can not stand by and see some one being treated, the way this shy little 72 year old widow, soaking wet 98 pounds, being abused kicked around by a large company such a Sears.
I lost my Mother years ago....if you're reading this... think about it.
Bob Biesiada, phone 808-964-1022 for Mrs. Dorothy M. Barber 28-2947 Kumula St., Apt L2 Pepeekeo, HI 96783
He stated to me, that this women needs a good lawyer that she can not afford, as SEARS refuses to sit down and negotiate with her over the matter. In my own words these vampires desire to such the life out of this old lady.

As I said, I don't usually get involved in chain letters, unless I find them humorous, or the represent some conscious cause. In this case I sending this letter to everyone I know and urging it to be forwarded to everyone that they know so that it cover the country.
My Mother has a Sear's card and didn't understand what was happening, she was making minimum payments and her balance was growing, I give her enough to make double payments now. But basically, it was set up so by making minimum payments, like many elderly do, the interest rate would actually increase the balance owed and one would pay forever and end up owing a huge sum for a small purchase. This is another example of BIG BUSINESS taking CAPITALISM to it's worse, as a science.
