 | Specifically, I live in Markham, near Toronto, but I'm just looking for
help choosing a DVD recorder to buy, and most web searching turns up
US-based websites that don't apply to me.
I put a premium on commercial skip or commercial advance features, but
to my understanding, only a few VCRs out there still have the true
automatic "commercial advance". I'm hoping that most DVD recorders
with the 30-second commercial skip will skip it almost instantly so
then it's better than the VCR with the 30-second button.
Any advice or suggestions (based on personal use, if possible) would be
great.
