 | [forgive me if this is a dup; my server's been acting up]
I am looking into the best way to purchase a treadmill. I am looking at the Landice L8 pro sport model, and am wondering if, given that the base price is identical, whether I should buy online or from a local dealer. Buying online would save me several hundred dollars in sales tax, and most of the sites appear to offer "free shipping", but I thought I read somewhere that Landice' "assignable lifetime warranty" wouldn't be valid when bought online. Is this true? Is it because its up to the local dealers to service machines under warranty, who wouldn't want to service a machine that they didn't sell me?
