*God* luck?!? :-)

I'm not sure if God had anything to do with it, but I know *way* too
much about Kennywood and Coney Island.

How come you didn't mention this quiz? I'm guessing that you missed
it somehow:

I got all the answers right to this one, too. Surprised myself!

Thanks for the FunTrivia link, Steve.

Did anyone find the error in the matching one. Well not a total
error, but a question that should have two correct answers?

Oops, time to go back to typing 101!
Thanks for the other link!
I need more time to check this stuff out (and think it through before
answering any questions!)

Note that question 3 of the Coney Island quiz contains an error. Can
anybody besides me guess what it is?

Um... How 'bout 'World's ColUmbian Exposition' rather than 'World's
ColOmbian Exposition"? (Part of the "hint" in the question.)

I believe the Expo was to celebrate the 400th anniversary of ol'
Christopher sailing across the big pond to "discover" the western
continents, islands, etc. Didn't have anything to do with throwing a
big party for our South American neighbor, Colombia. And Juan Valdez
wasn't the honorary spokesperson.

The Expo was in 1893, which was actually 401 years after the date when
Columbus sailed the ocean blue to find a land for me and you. But
who's counting? Probably not the native peoples who already lived
here.

It was 401 years after Columbus sailed, but 400 years had elapsed.
Anybody want to rehash THAT argument again? 8-)

I *knew* somebody would sling that old hash right up here on the plate
immediately after I hit send yesterday morning. And, dammit Dave, you
did it! :-)

It's also got one 'e' and one 'u'. Eeeuuuuuu.

The other error in question 3 is that the Shoot-the-Chutes was NOT
introduced to the US at Coney Island either. There was at least three
others constructed in the US prior to Coney Island's.

Cool, I aced it (no pun intended).

I laughed at the one choice for question 14. Kennywood After Dark. Cue the
music in Lost Kennywood.
