Hi Ed,

This can be a good source of information. Welcome aboard and enjoy. I try
to get here as often as possible, I find that I still learn things. I guess
when I stop learning is the day I crawl in the ground and pull the top over
me.

Welcome Eddie. We all have a lot to learn from one
another. When you have a time I hope you'll tell us
about big game and turkey hunting in Virginia. Good
hunting! Michael

Welcome Eddie --

Where in VA are you located. I'm in the Nothern/Eastern part. Mostly
waterfowl here, but I'm more into grouse and upland birds.

Cheers.

Hey, I never thought about Brenton that way, but I guess he is the NG poster
from the future --

Hi Eddie, welcome aboard!

:-)

Cheers,

Brenton, who because of his unique position in the world, is actually
writing this from the future, and the Southern Hemisphere

(it is 1pm Tuesday here in New Zealand as I write this)

That's right, a day ahead of us and from mid-summer...

Brenton, do you engage in other outdoor activities;
hiking, climbing, fishing, backpacking,
rafting/kayaking/canoeing, etc.? Good hunting!

Michael, who is about to schedule the annual family
outing to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (we have to
make reservations in February in order to have an
entry permit come August), and who fishes though not well.

Brenton once posted a picture of himself "paddling" down the
road at home. Some smart people could no doubt google it up
at rec.guns, prob. under "help- New Zealand is sinking" or
something.

Hey - the rain cut us off from the city, I couldn't get to work, there was
water in the street - what else was I to do?

I know the lifejacket is a bit over the top, but kids might see that image,
and decide that if I can go kayaking in the street without one, so could
they...

Actually, I was a little lazy that day. If I had dragged the kayak over the
next hill, I could have paddled all the way into the shopping centre in the
town we live at!

Nothing vanishes on the internet...

Oh, and to answer Michael's question, I hike, fish (salt, fresh, fly, etc),
take outdoorsy photos, kayak.

I don't do bungy, or ride horses (horses and me just don't see eye to eye),
but basically, if it is outdoors, I like it!

:-)

Cheers,

Brenton
