The Kenyans do indeed have a College of Arms, established under a
College of Arms Act. This occurred shortly after Kenya became
independent of Great Britain. It mostly deals with municipal arms, but
does also grant/register personal arms. I am hoping to gather enough
material for a decent article on the subject, such as how many grants
per annum, etc. I wait patiently for a reply to my second letter to
Kenya, the first one having provided a copy of the Act.

Why bother? They can't feed themselves let alone herald themselves.

Fascinating. Many thanks for typing it out.

I wonder both who drafted it and whether the Kenyan College of Arms has
ever functioned.
