 | I got a taurus PT92 AR at the last gun show, I was looking for a used glock 17. found one for 375, found a new taurus for 350 too though. comes with a 10rd mag, and the 17rd mag was $15 extra. Finally got a chance to shoot it today. the heavy trigger pull wasn't unexpected, acted just like a beretta in that aspect. took me about 10 rounds to adjust my hold on it to stop pulling low and left. about 200 rounds later and 0 failures of any kind, I had a few targets with the centers cut out. needless to say, the quality to price ratio was a good bit lopsided, in my favor.
the thing that sold me on it when I got it was that it had an accessory rail on the frame, the only beretta that has that is vertec, but it holds less and is twice what I paid for the taurus. and with 0 failures in 200 rounds, it can't preform any better than what I have.
now all I need is a nice light, which may cost about the same as the taurus. I've posted a picture of it, since I can't find one in their gray finish or with rails on their site.

as a side note, I was watching "Who am I?" with jackie chan in it, they used a chromed taurus PT92 AF in it. I had to load the dvd on the computer and take frame stills to be sure. in the end jackie slides the slide off when the bad guy tries to shoot him, yea tried that, you can't do that with a mag in the weapon.
