 | "We are very sad to report that beautiful dancer and friend Irv Kass
suffered an untimely and fatal heart attack on January 1st.
Irv is survived by his mother, his sister, cousins, nephews and nieces, and
his beloved companion Elizabeth Freedman.
A quiet graveside funeral will take place on Jan. 5 in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida; then, later, at some time in the next few months, there will be a
special commemorative event, gathering friends, to honor and appreciate Irv,
to share stories, to dance and to seek joy after sorrow.
