 | The St. Louis English Country Dancers present their annual Olde Christmas Grand Dance on Saturday, January 8th, 2005, at the Focal Point, 2720 S. Sutton Blvd. in Maplewood, Missouri (an inner-ring suburb of St. Louis; see map on website). The event goes from 7:30 - 10:30 pm, and will feature dance leader Peter Wollenberg, with Rachel Pusey, Missy Reisenleiter & Rebecca Taylor, and music by the Original Speckled Band: Michael Banvard (violin), Jennifer Coalson (bass), Paul Ovaitt (mandolin, guitar, percussion), Erica Randolph (flute, recorders) and Paul Stamler (guitars).
Participants are invited to wear fancy dress (*your* definition) and to bring snacks and drinks to share at the intermission. If you need information about lodgings in St. Louis, please get in touch with me (see information, below). The cost is $20 per person.
