He'd be the first Tennessee Walker to have silver, then. It is
unrecognized in the breed. It says he's not registered, but then in
the body of the ad it says he's pure Tennessee Walker, so, who knows.

I've seen buckskins. Here's what I think of when I think buckskin:

Compare the amount of black on the legs of this one v. the original one I
posted.

As I understand it, buckskins have as much black on their legs as do bays.
The cream gene doesn't affect the black pigment, yes? If true, why then
does that horse have practically not black on the legs?

There are some silver bays who have mostly black manes with just a few
frosty white hairs.
