 | It would be handy at times to be able to save the current session and, eventually, close all pages. I know this can be done by manually saving your session with another name than the default, then close the pages. Nevertheless it would ease the workflow considerably if you could easily save a session by the click of a button. The session name could be the hour:minute_date_month_year.win. (Maybe use a folder for each date instead.)
Another idea could be to allow the user to make opera automatically save a session with such a name every so often.
While at the topic of sessions, I think the sessions saving dialog needs a touching up. It is not very user friendly to have to type the path to the session. Instead of the current dialog, I would like to see an input field where you simply type the name of the session. (and of course, a browse button letting you save it somewhere else than the default place.) To complement this, there should may-be an "Open session" dialog too, enhanced by listing the first 5 window titles saved in it when clicking on the session.
- I have made a test dialog here: http://home.no.net/polynar/opera/test/save_session.png (It doesn't *work* as expected of course :) )
