Ability to stop the mouse from snapping to centre when right clicking to
pan round the page.
Overhaul the M2 engine slightly as the indexing is ridiculous. I have RSS
and news feeds saying that I have new messages that turn out to be emails
i have previously saved (not RSS or news). Trash saying it has one new
message when it is actually empty and changes on being clicked. This might
be more to do with beta 8 but nonetheless its not good and if not fixed
will carry through!

The mouse jumping to the middle of the screen annoys me, also. It
interrupts my browsing experience. It would be very nice to see an option
in the prefernces to fix this.

But if your pointer was at the edge of the screen, you coudn't pan in that
direction then?

If you had horizontal panning enabled, yes.

Of course you can. Look at IE and most windows applications for a prime
example. although don't emulate anything else IE does for heavens sake!
This is also a pain in the **** if i miss a hyperlink (with middle click
set to open in background page) and end up with the mouse centred.
Useless!!
