 | If you close the "Welcome to Opera" start up dialog box, Opera launches anyway. It seems to me that the correct behavior is for Opera to quit since the dialog has no special option to quit and since one can accidentally launch two copies of Opera (in which case one would want to close one copy). I am using Opera for Linux 8.0 Beta 1.

I wouldn't expect to be able to undo starting an application. But if you have a statup dialog with a 'close' button on top, you'd indeed intuitively assume this allows closing the application.
