Opera8.0B1 crashes on spellcheck

Using Mandrake 10.1, whenever I go to spellcheck, opera crashes. 7.54
also did this. when ran from the console, 7.54 just segfaulted. Nothing
pops up in either version. Spellchecking works with other apps in
linux.
