Is there a way to use mplayerplugin in Opera?
I've Opera 7.54 on Mandrake 10.0 Official, when I want to listen for
webradio it's only possible with Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox.
But I would use Opera for it.

When I try to install mplayerplugin in Opera, that's not possible.
The file mplayerplugin is not shown as usable plugin in Opera preferences,
that's why I can't install it.

Has anyone here found a way to install and use mplayerplugin?

For me, Opera uses the plugins (including MPlayer) in
/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ and /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ - you don't need to
install either Netscape or Mozilla, just let the plugins create the
directories when you install the plugins. You can edit the "plugin path" in
Opera - tools - preferences - plugins if the mozilla or netscape directories
aren't there already.

Yup. I had to make symlinks to the file mplayerplugin references from the
mozilla base install tho, so the plugin could find them...

There is an innocence in admiration; it is found in those to whom it
has not yet occurred that they, too, might be admired some day.
