 | I run SuSE 9.2 and have installed Opera 7.54 Final, but none of my window-settings are stored. Furthermorre when I start Opera I get asked every time how I want to start the program. Generally there's a problem with the settings that are not stored somehow.
Anyone familiar with this problem and how it can be solved?
TIA.

How did you install? There are three options - a global install, accessible to all users on your system, and a local install accessible to you, and then there is also uninstalled if you downloaded one of the tarballs (just unpack it and run it from where it is). Also, did you have a prior install?
Most of the recent problems I've seen were people who did a local install or ran it uninstalled, but still had setup files from a previous version on their system. If that sounds like it could be you, look for the old global setup files (in /usr/share/opera, or also /etc/opera6rc and /etc/opera6rc.fixed).
