 | 8.00 7401 is forcing me to wait almost 30 seconds for the "add
bookmark" dialog to open. I overwrote the bookmark (adr) file in the
8.0 profile folder with a copy of a bookmark file from a concurrent
(7.60) installation.
The bookmark path is now current and correct on the 8.00 opera/paths> page. And I have not uninstalled Opera 7.60.
When I click "add bookmark", 8.00 halts - becomes completely
unresponsive - until the add bookmark dialog box opens about 30 seconds
later.
I'm running xp Home, service pack #1, and have 512mb of ram. And I've
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. Any idea what might be
causing the delay?

I would suggest renaming the bookmark file so Opera doesn't see it, and
then importing the bookmarks from 7.6 instead - there might be some sort
of format change.
