 | Is there some trick to make the "Find in page" function go back to start at the top of the page?
When this function was first added it would reliably find strings wherever they were in the page. Now it works its way down the page, searching forwards from the last search, until it gets stuck at the bottom - unable to find anything.
I've found that selecting the first letter on the page will make it start from the top again, but this is very cumbersome.

I find it easier to just hit the "Home" key and the retry it.

8.0b1/7401 on Win95 here does not get stuck, both F3 and Shift+F3 wrap to the top or bottom when needed. I can't find any preference which will cause them to get stuck.
