 | Just replaced my aging Sony with a LG GSA=4160B.Local computer store
replaced it late on Friday,said they had no time to check it.It writes
fine,but seems unable to READ.
Get "Scsi status:0x02 Interpretation:check condition Logical unit crc
communication crc error" message in DVD decrypter for dvd,and audio grabber
can see files on cd but cant seem to transfer?
Using XP SP2.Will take back on wed to shop,but hoped it was something I
could fix over weekend?

| Usual first stop is update firmware to latest version.

Those drives got very mixed reviews not may were good..
I would have stuck to a Liteon..
lot of other CDR & DVD software/drivers can clash, I have similar problems,
try removing all other drivers/software and just to a Test burn with say
Nero..
