 | Hello Group!!
Can somebody guide me in searching a room for around 3 months in the area
around Steinhöft 20459 Hamburg, as i am going to live there for my
Praktikum. I am a student here in Germany so cant afford costly houses, so
anything cheaper (single room) will do for me.

That's mostly students offering flatshare to other students.
The area directly around 20459 is called Neustadt. Quite
nearby: St. Pauli, Eimsbüttel, St. Georg, Altona. Cheaper
and not to remote: Hamm, Eilbek, Barmbek, Uhlenhorst, Veddel.
