 | All new servers I'm seeing are now running Win2003 and IIS6 as standard.
The only way I can get my web dBase application to work is to allow "All Unknown CGI Extensions".
It departments won't allow this (i've been given a few weeks to fix it) and it's getting very serious. I'm hoping it's a simple configuration setting and if so all the more reason for dBase to publish the required information.
I cannot stress how important this is for dBase's pr.

Hi Peter, no, that's not necessary---I have about 20 applets with .dbw extensions running on Win2003 and IIS (don't know the #, but likely the latest as it's a university server that's kept pretty current). Did you set up the virtual folder to recognize your app's extension? It's been a while since I did the setup but I'll see if I can find my directions to myself.

 | See the post from Geert Geerits called "Re Web Service extensions in IIS6" in binaries---screen shots of the setup for using the .dbw extension.
Thanks, Geert.
