I have several fairly basic reports that print data from a table in column fashion in landscape mode. The default output is used. They print to the screen first with the option of hardcopy. I use the xofy custom control for the page number. Two questions, first, every time someone goes to a previous page in the view mode, the entire report re-renders due to the xofy control. Is there any way around this? We are using a windows 2000 network. Secondly, on one machine and one machine only, the render command (line 7) of the report generates an error message "Possible metric or control size/position error" and you cannot view the report. Also, the window that the report would normally appear in is larger than the screen. If I x out of the windows dialogue box, I can however print the report by clicking on the printer icon. Any idea what could be causing this on only one machine and not the others? All other machines run perfectly. This oddity is limited to the one machine for all reports which generate default to the screen output. Labels that are directed to print work fine even on this machine.

Check the .ini file for this application. It's probable that the size
of the report viewer is larger than the physical screen. Reset it to
dimensions that fit that computer's screen and this _may_ be alleviated.

Can you set a line length for your messages? I see your message when I
go into reply mode as a single line.

Regarding the PageXofY class -- no, there is no way around the issue you
are concerned with, as the report has to be re-rendered from scratch
(live data, it a user adds a row to the table and you re-render the
report ...).

As to the other issue, I have no ideas ... sorry.
