How many controls are you stacking, and is there just one column of
controls? Are you saying the first control is pushing down the second
control correctly, but not the third control?

Thank you for your reply Todd, your help is always appreciated.

Yeh that's what is happening. I'll see if i can produce a turnkey example of
the problem or maybe just upload the report + datamodule + .dbf to my
website for zipped for download in the next couple of days. If you (or any
of your colleagues) would be willing to take a look at either I think that
would be a great help to me.

Thanks

Mark

I'll see if I can duplicate this...

I played around with a report I threw together with just three text controls
stacked. I had the same problem you describe initally, then after making a
few adjustments the text appeared as expected.

First, make sure all text control's height is set to 0.

If that does not help, try setting the top properties as close a possible
and at the same time ensure the lower text control top is set higer than the
one above. You may need to use a more detailed report metric like twips or
points I found that setting the top properties for the 3 stacked controls to
50, 51, 52 worked, but using something like 50, 60, 70 did not.

I did not get a chance to download your files. If these suggestions don't
work, report back and we can proceed from there.

Thanks very much for the help, this one was driving me mad! I'll try out
your suggestions and get back to you.

Cheers

Mark

Your zero size suggestion has worked. Now the stacked text controls print
properly.

All that remains to do is to thank you for your assistance, I really
appreciate it.

Cheers

Glad to help, Mark.

Hi
The controls are in a 7 x 4 (row x column non overlapping "grid")

I have prepared a download here
http://www.pioneeroiltools.com/Downloads/ReportTest.zip (viruschecked with
uptodate definitions)
The download contains report, datamodule, tables, a BDE admin .cfg file, and
a readme.txt

If you don't want to use this I can work on a turnkey, but was quicker to
produce and is only 34K to download.

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide

Mark
