HI all,

When dropping a table from a mssql2000 server, dq assigns it a horrible
name, like ._b01, instead of .mytablename. This is unworkable in DQ, as I
have at times over 10 table, some over 40 table, to distinguish one from the
other becomes rather difficult, ie _b01....._b40. Who know what that means.
It then take a considerable amount of time to edit the DMD in the editor, I
might as well have coded it myself then.

Thanks
Robert

What were the original table names?
dQuery contains code to work around some table name issues that would
otherwise
cause problems. Perhaps you have some table names that are triggering
unintended behaviour?

HI,

Table names are nothing special. Happens with all MSSQL tables. E>G> Broker,
company, Insurer, address, Policy, etc etc etc.
