 | Hi, A new little error has just started appearing.
-------------------------------------------------------- Error: Variable Undefined: ROOT
File: ProjExp.wfo Routine: PROJEXPFORM::GETINISETTINGS Line: 3248 ---------------------------------------------------------
This occurs when I try to open an existing project or use untitled to start a new project. Also (having ignored the error on the way in) the error occurs when saving the project.
I have tried deleting 'projexp.ini' and 'plus.ini' with no positive effect. I have also reinstalled build 1755 (I haven't tried uninstall and reinstall yet.) Any clues?
dBase Plus 2.21 b1755

I have not been able to reproduce this bug. Have you tried installing the latest Project Explorer for 2.21 that is available on the gold site?

 | Danita, ProjExp B1005 27 Apr 2004 is the latest that I have. I'm pretty sure it's the most current.

 | Paul,
I am testing with this same version and still cannot duplicate your problem. In the routine that seems to be the problem, ROOT is a reference to the Project Explorer menu file (PBuilderPlus.mno in the ProjExp directory). Is it possible that this file has become corrupted?

 | Danita,
Your blood is worth bottling. Deleting (pbuilderplus.mno) and re-running (projectexplorer1005.exe) solved the problems. That's one of the things about dBase. I've yet to find a problem that I can't either fix or work around.
r's Paul
