 | Hello,
I've recently set up a color scheme via X resources foreground, background, color0, ... color15 and I'm having some trouble with Emacs. Everything displays fine and looks good except for the menu bar, dialogs and context menus (like those that pop up in customization buffers.) In those objects the text is white on a light gray background, which makes it very difficult to read. My emacs is built with the X toolkit, not Motif/Lesstif.
I managed to fix the menu bar using the Emacs.pane.menubar.foreground resource, but I can't find the correct resources for dialogs and context menus. I've tried using editres, but the context menus disappear as soon as I click on "Get Tree" in editres, and I can't get any dialogs to show (I believe I customized emacs to not use them, but I'm having trouble finding the customization variable.
Does anyone know what the proper resources for dialogs and context menus are? Or failing that, can anyone recommend a tool to discover the proper resources?
Thanks and regards. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- J. Bromley jbromley at gmail dot com
