I'd like to find a slick way of extracting several mass properties of
SW parts that form a large assembly... cg, volume, x,y,z positions
relative to the assembly's origin.

I was originally going to just step through the assembly and tally up
properties in a spreadsheet, but when I found ExcelLink
(SWTemplate.xls) on SolidWorks' website I decided that maybe there is
a macro out there that already does exactly what I need. ExcelLink
comes very close in that you link mass properties of parts to excel,
and those properties are relative to the part's origing of course.
ExcelLink also works for an assembly, but takes the cg, and position
of cg for the whole assembly relative to the origin of the assembly.
ALMOST what I need, but not quite.

If I could ge the same info (CG and position of it) for each part in
the assembly relative to the assembly's origin, I'd be laughing.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Scott

PS. The application here is for weight and balance of a Remotely
