-------- The successful candidate must have expert hands-on skills in all aspects of real-time customer interaction management in high volume environments using the Genesys applications suite (www.genesyslabs.com). This leader supports multiple, geographically distributed call center environments, must be capable of quick and creative problem resolution and be able to design/implement new solutions as the need arises.
Responsibilities: - The ideal candidate will coordinate all aspects of our Genesys environment. This includes all day-to-day maintenance, as well as, makes any needed changes to Routing Strategies and our new windows routing interface. - Responsible for ensuring we maintain our target 99.95% availability on our Genesys environment. - Act as a technical lead on all Genesys related initiatives. This includes being a member of cross functional groups and managing consultants, as needed, to help ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. - Work very closely with our Contact Center group to ensure all of our services are being used as efficiently as possible. This includes conducting internal training/knowledge transfer sessions with our end users and team members. - Maintain complete detail technical documentation on our Genesys environment - Work with the rest of the Telecommunications Group to document and implement new processes and procedures to help us better manage our department. - Provide Level 3 technical support for our Avaya environment. This includes all Definity call servers, Intuity voicemail servers, call accounting server(s), and Call Management System Servers.
Qualifications: - BA/BS in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related major. - Minimum of 5 years hands-on Genesys engineering/development experience. - Minimum of 3 years hands-on Avaya engineering/development experience. - Demonstrated ability to completely manage a project from thought to completion. This includes managing stake holder expectations and ensuring the project completes on time and on budget. - Excellent oral and written skills
Reports To: Director, Telecommunications
Hours: 9AM-6PM Monday - Friday* This position will be required to be on-call for after-hour support as needed. This position can require up 50% travel.
* Hours may change during holiday busy season
