 | Hello
I need some help with this situation:
A nanny was sponsored by a family to come to Canada to look after their kids. The family got a business number and started paying her salary every two weeks and remitted her taxes + cpf + EI to CRA regularly, last payment was upto 31 December 2004. Total amount coming to around $22,000.
Can this total amount be claimed as child care expense in their tax return?
Thanks.
