 | Hello everyone,
I'm new to this newsgroup. I have been with Girl Guides of Canada for 3
years now as Brown Owl of the local Brownie unit and have just received a
compliment that helped me remember why I became a Guider.
One of my girls' moms saw me at my job a couple of weeks ago and told me how
much her daughter looked forward to coming to our weekly meetings and how
much fun she was having there.
Hearing that made me happy and proud about the time that I'm giving to these
girls.

Terri, that is a major compliment. I remember last October, at my
provincial Rover and Venturer event, the youth presented me with a Walking
stick as appreciation for all the work I have done in the past few years.
It just goes to show you how much appreciated you are when complimented from
the bottom up. So congratulations to you for great compliment!
