For those of you who want to discuss the recent Sumatra quake with your Packs and Troops, I woudl recommend taking a look at the Cdn Geological Survey pages at

for up to date information on earthquakes in Western Canada. Information on other regions of the country is reachable from that page as well.
Apparently, there was magnitude 3.5 quake just outside Fort St John BC, yesterday afternoon. Did not even make the news on a slow news day ...
The site has some fascinating pages like the up to the hour seismograph readings for your area, with an explanation on how to read the stuff, lists and maps of recent quake activities, with magnitude location and depth of the epicentrum, a teachers' corner.
