 | Where's a good place to buy a small used boat? Something in the range of $1-$2K. Just looking for something small to take the kids fishing and maybe enough horse to pull the kids in a tube. Something like an older bowrider or a 14-16ft aluminum in the range of 20-40hp.
I'm not finding much online - any good sites for this stuff in Ontario?

 | The sites that the others have mentioned are good places to start. There are many, many, many of the boats that you are looking for around, but the problem is finding someone willing to sell one...people who have those types of boats tend to keep them for various reasons. That being said, you do find the odd one around for sale....keep your eyes open because many of them are not advertised widely..they are at the side of the road, or in front of people's houses or whatever....it takes some patience, but you will find a good one eventually....go to some marine stores, marinas, ask around, take a drive into cottage country some day. It is surprisingly difficult to find a boat like this, but there are lots around, the trick is to find someone willing to sell one to you.
