Exactly. Anyone who ignores the fact that the Russians won WWII against the
Natzis ignores history. Russia was left as an empty shell after WWII-the US
(and Canada) were left largely intact.

Almost 70% of the German casualties were as a result of the Russians.

Americans are constantly bragging about the arsenal of democracy and how
they saved the world. If they opened their eyes and read some real military
history, they will realize they didn't.

It's good the Yanks take responsibility for others financial woes!
The USSR went broke and had a leader that new the system wasn't
working. When the iron curtain came down, I was surprised to not see
Americans running to East Berlin with "old glory" on a flagstaff.
They haven't even laid claim to being the ones who physicaly tore
the wall down. I doubt they even heard of it!

Perhaps they think France was part of the Soviet Union. Even so the
only battle they had with the USSR was in Afghanistan. That wasn't
during the two world wars. If the Americans don't know the
differance between two politacal parties such as Communist and Nazi,
that may explain their confusion over the term democracy.

They are worse then the Mafia. Those people usually aim for the
target and try to avoid bystanders. Americans shoot for the crowd.
