Thoughts and prayers in your direction, Tom. This IS a perfect place to
post - lots of support.
The shock of realizint that he is no longer a phone call away must be
leaving an empty hole right now. Don't be afraid to talk to him, anyway -
he is in your heart, and will remain there forever.
Dennis Lloyd.

Thank you

I can see my 12 year old and twin 4 year olds having a snowball fight
outside my window right now. Phil was 21 when he met that train, now his
younger siblings do not have him around for snowball fights or anything. I
met him when he was six years old, and he was a constant addition to our
household over the years. His suicide was a confusing shock to us all.
I have spent a lot of time with cameras and video cams filming all those
I know. It irritates some people to see a video camera, but I film people
for more than the moment. Brats may understand my feelings.... I film
people so that when they are gone, I have something of them to see and
remember. We all have lost touch with so many of our friends by moving so
much......

Hmm.... I can't stay focussed on my point. The boys are throwing snowballs
at the window :)

I think I'll go join the living now....

Tom;
I am sorry I missed the opportunity to express my sorrow with you, on the
passing of your cousin. Of course, I never knew Phil, but I know about
losses, and family and friends. We don't always deal, in the same way, with
losses, but we all understand them and can relate. As so many said before
me, this is the forum to vent, and express your loss, and we thank you for
telling us.

I am sure, even if the loss is hard to understand, time will heal your
wounds. Let's hope you recover quickly from the sorrow, and keep the good
memories forever..

Karla Bonoff wrote it best and Linda Ronstadt sang it:

Oh we never know where life will take us
I know it's just a ride on the wheel
And we never know when death will shake us
And we wonder how it will feel

So goodbye my friend
I know I'll never see you again
But the time together through all the years
Will take away these tears
It's okay now
Goodbye my friend

I've seen a lot things that make me crazy
And I guess I held on to you
We could've run away and left well maybe
But it wasn't time and we both knew

So goodbye my friend
I know I'll never see you again
But the love you gave me through all the years
Will take away these tears
I'm okay now
Goodbye my friend

Life's so fragile and love's so pure
We can't hold on but we try
We watch how quickly it disappears
And we never know why

But I'm okay now
Goodbye my friend
You can go now
Goodbye my friend
