I got one !!!

We picked one up at Best Buy, with that "don't start paying for three
months" deal. This works well, since I can put a little away each month to
pay off at least half of it by then. I've already popped off 482 pics in
the last few days. Unfortunately our computer had a major repair done to
it, and the CD burner is not working yet. I'm not going to relax until it's
working , and I can make a CD copy of my photo folders.

I missed out on a great shot today. A large hawk flew away with it's
breakfast in it's claws as I was working my way to my photo location. I had
seen it's shape on the farm house roof a few minutes earlier, but didn't
register the shape as a bird. Too bad. I'll have to see if I got a shot of
him in the background of my first pictures.

"You disappoint me Tom. The photographer you are I thought you would be the
one to take the pictures of me. Dora"

If you live in London, or nearby, I'll head right over and " Git er
done"....

to take any

I got a kodak easyshare CX7330, 3.1 megapixels. The old one was a kodak
easyshare CX6230, 2.0 megapixels. They look almost identical, but the new
one sure uses up the extra memory fast. I think I got 222 pictures on the
'Best' quality setting the other day. Luckilly I was finished taking the
important pictures, and was just taking a few extra when it said memory card
full. The quality over quantity was worth it though, as I got many really
good shots worth enlarging later.

Oh, a 12x optical zoom eh ! If your trying to make me feel small and
inadiquite,
with my teeny tiny 3x optical zoom, then great, you did it.
I Feel so small and weeny now, I think I'm just gonna go to bed and curl up
in the fetal position under my blankey.

When my camera grows up, it's gonna have a bigger zoom than yours does, so
there.....nyah !

Tom you probably dont take action shots of dogs like i do. When the dogs
are zooming around a 100 sq yard ring. I needed the zoom so the dog would
acctualy look like a dog in the pics instead of a spot on the pic. Thats
why i had to get the better camera. Belive me i paid for it. But i also
plan on makeing it a mini business so i needed some good equipment.

No need to explain (though it was interesting to read). I was trying to be
funny. Now you know why I'm not a rich comedian.... not that funny !

:)

I had fun today. I went back out again to take more of the old house
shots with the extra piles of snow dumped on us yesterday. It was evident
that the snow did more damage to the brick house. Minor cave in to the
already destroyed living room, and the outer walls have buckled even more
since last week.
I only had one fall while out there, but nothing stabbed through my
coat. That's my biggest concern out at these abandoned farms anytime,
impailing myself on wreckage when falling, or having a wall collapse on me.
But the end results are worth the risk.
I hope to show my pics somewhere sometime soon, like in some downtown
restauraunts. There is not many art galleries that want to display photos
for sale, unless you want to pay for showing them. I would if I could
afford to.

I am a Picture Maker. My camera is more than adequate for what I do.
I do take an incredible amount of pictures.
Some of my best work is framed and hung in coffee shops.
In friends homes and of course mine

I love working graphics and having a file of my own pictures to choose from
is awesome.

So curl up and when and if any of my pics make any big money...( and i am
not striving for that)
I will buy you a bigger camera than mine..fully loaded...so big ,Tim Allan
from that show...(cannot remember
the name...home something) would be envious of you.

THats GREAT Tom :o) I have taken a few pics with my new camera but i have
to read the inch thick manual that came with it to figure out all the
dohickys on it. I dont think i can just trial and error this one...there
are just to many things on it. Its the first camera ive had that is not
only automatic but one that you can pic the way you want the shot to turn
out ... its gonna be alot of work but hopefuly i will master it and get some
great shots.
I got a shot of some eagles last year... they were feeding on a hunk of
meat...not fish... dont want to realy know what it was come to think of it.
