Ooops, did I shout too loud? Sorry about that - hope your hangovers are
gone quickly.

Sometimes it's good to be the designated driver and not drink.

Best wishes for health, happiness, peace and prosperity to all my brat
friends!

Hey Susan.. Happy New Year to you too..
I didn't get a hangover for New Years.. I drank mostly beer after I got
there, and never consumed more than a pint of rum and 5 beer. We went out
close to home (My Legion) where we could just walk home from (since its very
hard to get a Taxi), and stopped for Pizza on the way (that was a mistake),
which gave me a food hangover this morning.. Grumbling Tummy Syndrome.
Always happens when I pig out after midnight..

Anyway.. Ringing in the New Year fine, would have liked to go the morning
Levie, but I am the only one who gets up early enough the next day to do
that, so I passed on the idea..

I went out to O'Brien's after all and correctly guessed the murder
mystery's killer - won brunch for two at the new restaurant downtown at
the Marriott Hotel. My daughter and her boyfried came along - and
Dorothy (the bartender) and Grant both asked if I'd forgotten to bring
you.

Got home around 2:00 am (sober as ever) and had cold pizza before bed.
No food hangover this morning - and the dog wouldn't let me sleep in -
up at 7:00 am.

Dropped off some Freecycle stuff on my way out - my first good deed of
the new year.

Dinner with my parents, daughter, brother, niece, nephew, cousin and
other relatives at my parents' place - good food, good company and a
whole bag of tennis balls for Pony Club. What a great way to start the
new year.

Hope everyone else had a great day.

Susan
