Hello Group.

I wanted some recomendations on ERP software, with your experiences and
personal feelings.

We need a software that will match our needs:
- Small Business (3 workers)
- Very large quantity of products and of product lines
- Lot's of different suppliers and clients for each product and line.
(Sometimes a supplier in one line is a customer in other!)
- We need, appart from the (and it's even more important than)
accounting, a possibility to track all the offers and requisitions we
receive for (particular/lines of) products.

We don't really need more than one license, but we can use it on two
networked computers.

A friend of us recommended using "peach tree", but I am afraid that
there is too much weight in the accounting and financial sections and
less in the commercial/marketing sections.
What do you think?
Many Thanks!

Peachtree will not do what you want on the MRP/ERP side. It is not designed
to.
It is a low-end accounting package, as is Quickbooks.

Based on the information you have given, you may need 2 or 3 separate
programs
- ERP, Accounting, & CRM.

A couple of years ago, I set up a friend with a program called PC/MRP.

It seemed to work well for them, and the price is certainly right. The
accounting module was not nearly as user-friendly as QB or Peachtree, but it
handled the MRP functions very well.

If you're not going to spend tens of thousands - hundreds of thousands of
dollars/pounds/yen/local equivalent for software & training, I would go with
a
QB-PC/MRP/Goldmine combo.

Good luck!

Tony
