What are your CTC definitions for both sides?
Ken: The CTC connections seem to be fine; we thought it was a routing problem on the MVS side, but changes made today did not rectify the problem. And there are no routers involved here. A PING via the CTC works fine. In fact, the FTP logon is also fine; it just dies at the SEND. I don't have the MVS side definition available to me. On the VSE side, the CTC opens fine, and its DEF is: DEF LINK,ID=UAFC,TYPE=CTCA,DEV=722,MTU=32768,IPADDR=10.1.9.12 David Wakser InfoCrossing

 | Check the MVS firewall settings. They may permit the FTP command port to come in, byt may be blocking the data port, thus causing you to perform your ftp's in passive rather than active mode.
